Creating a Moroccan-Inspired Bedroom
1. Don't be afraid of bright colours Cerise pink, aquamarine, rich purple, deep red and lime green are great choices for bedding and accessories such as lamps, cushions and other ornaments. For best results, use these colours against a duller shade of paint or wallpaper, such as aubergine, burnt orange or teal, to really make the colours pop.

2. Team with gold
Gold adds a luxurious, opulent feel and combined with Moroccan style, will make your bedroom fit for royalty! Gold and bronze metallics are one of the biggest trends of 2016 so you'll find plenty of choice for lamps, light fittings, decorative pieces and even larger items of furniture to add to your Moroccan style bedroom.
5. Dress your windows & walls
Shantar Pink, also available in Blue
3. Add cushions
Cushions create a feeling of plush luxury and provide a great opportunity to add more texture to your room. Try a mix of faux silk, tassels, and traditional Moroccan patterns. If you have the space, an area of floor cushions will add to the Middle Eastern atmosphere and make a great place for relaxing.
4. Lantern lighting
Lantern-style lighting is a simple yet effective way to give your bedroom a Moroccan makeover. Low hung lights on long chains, curved lamps and traditional candle-lit lanterns offer soft lighting that will enhance the vibrant colours and glittering metallics.
5. Dress your windows & walls
Colourful drapes and translucent curtains all add to the effect of a Moroccan bedroom. As an added bonus you get extra privacy too! You could also drape different fabrics and cloths from your walls, using a variety of colours and gold metallic prints, to create a traditional Middle Eastern look.To enhance the Moroccan feel of your bedroom, large golden mirrors add luxury, opulence and style. Bejewelled styles would be even better!
